Johdoh matches you with nearby people who share your interests — without revealing those interests to the other person, or to us.

• Your interests stay yours

  Matching runs on Private Set Intersection. You both learn what you have in common, and nothing else. Our servers never see your interest list in readable form — that's enforced by the cryptography, not by a policy.

• No email, no phone number

  An account is a username and a key pair generated on your device. There is nothing on it that identifies you, which means there is nothing for us to lose.

• Coarse location, no history

  Location is rounded to roughly 100 metres before it leaves your phone, and only your current position is kept — overwritten, never accumulated into a trail.

• Messages we can't read

  Direct messages and broadcasts are end-to-end encrypted and deleted after 30 days. We hold ciphertext and no keys.
